ANNUAL FEE
The DePaul Hockey Program is a
Club sport. There are specific eligibility rules to which each
player is required to adhere in order to maintain their active
status on the DePaul Hockey Team.
The basic academic rule states that each player must maintain at
least a 2.0 GPA, be a full-time undergraduate student (12 units)
and pass a minimum of nine (9) credits each semester. It is also
required that each player complete 24 units from the previous
school year to be eligible to play in the fall of the following
year.
DePaul Hockey is a pay to play (fee) Club sport. The program is
funded by the players and partially by the University. We have
sources of revenue, including sponsors, apparel sales, and the
program ad book sales. At this point, it is not enough to offset
the teams expenses that include but are not limited to,
equipment, travel, lodging, officials and ice times.
This year’s player fee will be $2,500.00, full payment is due
before the 1st practice slot. Goalie Fee is $2,000.00. Players
and Goalies will also be responsible for one fundraiser.
Information will be given out @ the players meeting.
The team will practice twice a week. Tuesday and Thursday slots
from 12:00 (noon) – 1:30 p.m. The 2009/2010 game schedule is
posted on the DePaul Hockey web site.
